IEEE / IST Workshop on "Monitoring, Attack Detection and Mitigation"
(MonAM 2006) will be held at the "Sand" in Tübingen in the premises of the Wilhelm Schickard Institute for Computer Science of the University of Tübingen.
Tübingen is an enticing and dynamic Swabian city of culture, 15 miles southwest of Stuttgart Airport, with about 90,000 inhabitants and 23,000 students. Since its founding in 1477, the university has shaped the character, formed the appearance and brought life to Tübingen.

Arrival by plane:
Tübingen is easily reachable by plane via Stuttgart Airport. From there, you can take the
You can also conveniently reach Tübingen by Frankfurt (Main) Airport (FRA), from where you can take a train directly to Stuttgart Main Station (about 1,5 hours).
Arrival by train:
To get to Tübingen by train, there are frequent connections via Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (main station). There are two types of trains to Tübingen, a fast one taking approx. 40 min and a slow one, taking about 60 min.
Get to the "Sand":
Take bus number 2 destination "Sand". This map shows the bus route from Tübingen Hauptbahnhof to the "Sand".
Because of other events taking place at the same time as the MomAM workshop, it might be difficult to find a room in Tübingen. We suggest to fill in the following accommodation form and send it to the tourist information (Verkehrsverein):
